Well-traveled American Brooks -Koepka used an eagle-three at the 15th hole to jump ahead of a -crowded -leader board and win the $6.3 million -Phoenix Open by one stroke on -Sunday for his first US PGA Tour victory.
The 24-year-old Koepka, who broke into professional golf in Europe, rolled in a 51-foot (15.54-meter) putt from the fringe short of the green at the -par-five 15th to vault over four players.
Koepka, ranked 33rd in the world Adidas Superstar Sale , carded a five-under-par 66 for a -total of 15-under-par 269, one better than Masters champion Bubba Watson (65), 22-year-old Japanese Hideki Matsuyama (67) and American Ryan Palmer (66).
"It feels amazing," said Floridian Koepka.
"The last few weeks I put in a lot of hard work Adidas Superstar Shoes , changed my putting stroke completely and everything seems to be going right."
Scotsman Martin Laird, the 54-hole leader, was tied with Koepka until he bogeyed the drivable par-four 17th with his first three-putt after going 95 -consecutive holes without one.
Laird then found water with his drive at 18 and took a double-bogey to register a 72 for 12 under, a total shared by Spanish amateur and -Arizona State student Jon Rahm Adidas Superstar Mens , who closed with a 68.
The self-assured Koepka, who claimed his first European Tour -victory at the Turkish Airlines event in November after winning four times on the European Challenge Tour, began the round three shots behind Laird.
It was Matsuyama who made the first charge.
Matsuyama, who was three back Adidas Superstar Womens , got off to a flying start when he holed out from a sand-filled divot in the fairway 129 yards (118 meters) from the cup for an -eagle-two at the first hole to reach 12 under.
Birdies at the third and fifth -lifted Matsuyama, who won last year's -Memorial Tournament, into a tie with Laird at 14 under, and a birdie at the par-five 13th gave the Japanese a one-shot lead.
One hole later there was a three-way tie for first at 14 under and -another hole later it was a four-way tie with Palmer joining Matsuyama Adidas Originals Superstar , Laird and Watson.
Then Koepka rolled in his eagle putt to vault into first at 15 under, a total matched by Laird with a birdie at the same hole before the Scotsman unraveled at the end.
Koepka has now shot par or better in all 12 rounds on the tour this season.

TIRANA, March 2 (Xinhua) -- The discovery of an oil area in Berat County, in the south of Albania Adidas Superstar , has attracted Shell Oil Company to increase investments in Albania, according to Albanian daily news report on Monday.
The director of Shell for Albania declared that in the Shpirag area experts have discovered an oil field which has also natural gas.
According to the company's official statement, "From the search operations in Berat County we have succeeded after the discovery of an oil field in Shpirag. However, we don't posses data regarding the reserves of oil and natural gas in this area."
"On this behalf, our company in cooperation with Petromanas Company has decided to increase investments of operations for the exploration of the area in search of oil and gas reserves. Also, we are working in opening three oil wells in this area. In this way, we will have a clearer view and data about the reserves this area has," the statement read.
Shell and Petromanas companies comprise the biggest consortium in Albania and undertake operations in searching#8# discovering and exploring areas throughout the country for the identification of potential reserves of hydrocarbons.
For now, the entire work of these companies is focused in Shpirag area after the unsuccessful exploring in Kruje and Shkodra areas since the reserves found were very low and inconsiderable for undertaking exploration operations.
