Luka Doncic has signed his rookie contract with the Dallas Mavericks that will pay the third overall pick $5.5 million next season.
The Mavericks announced Monday night that the 19-year-old EuroLeague MVP had signed the deal.
Dallas moved up two spots in the NBA draft last month to get the versatile Slovenian guard Andre Reed Jersey , who was selected by Atlanta at No. 3. The Mavericks picked former Oklahoma scoring sensation Trae Young for the Hawks at No. 5 as part of the deal that includes a protected 2019 first-round draft pick going to Atlanta.
The 6-foot-7, 220-pound Doncic is set to make $6.4 million in his second season with the Mavericks.
Doncic signed with Real Madrid at age 13 and made his debut as a 16-year-old. Real Madrid won the 2017-18 EuroLeague title and he was the Final Four MVP.

The International Ski Federation says the American star earned almost 703,000 Swiss francs ($738,000).
Men’s overall champion Marcel Hirscher of Austria Quintin Demps Jersey , who won 13 World Cup races, was second with prize earnings of almost 670,000 francs ($703,000).
With 11 runner-up finishes and a single win Terrell Owens Jersey , Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway earned 345,000 francs ($362,000) to place third.
Lindsey Vonn of the United States earned 264,000 francs ($277 L. P. Ladouceur Jersey ,000), including five first-place prizes. She was fifth behind Wendy Holdener of Switzerland, who earned prize money of almost 274,000 francs ($287 Cam Newton Jersey ,000).
