Azeroth has existed since the original Warcraft: Orcs and Humans launched in 1994 and the following Warcraft two games further built on the story and lore. Warcraft 3 has been possibly the most popular of these ancient games and introduced us to a number of the Wow gold classic characters which goes on to play large roles in World of Warcraft, such as Sylvanas Windrunner, Jaina Proudmore, and Arthas Menethil, among many others.
When World of Warcraft launched in 2004, all the lore, history, and locations that was laid out in the earlier Warcraft games were brought to life within Blizzard's vast MMO.
If you have only got a few hours a week to devote to an MMO, Classic might not be the match for you personally and you might be better off looking at modern Warcraft to fulfill this Azeroth-shaped hole. Having said that, if you are not particularly concerned with endgame content like raiding or max-level dungeons and just wish to explore Azeroth because it was in 2006 then by all means, carry on. But if you want to enjoy everything that Classic has to offer, then you should be ready to devote a lot of time not just levelling your character however finishing various Attunement quests and cheap wow gold grinding standing to get a few of those late-game instances. |
