Chinese self-made billionaire Liu Yiqian http://www.oldskooltilbud.com/denmark-dame-vans-old-skool-hvid-rainbow.html , 52, has made headlines in the last few years, not for making big business deals but rather, for splashing out great sums of money at art auctions worldwide.
Liu’s latest spending spree is a Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279) vase that cost him HK$113.9 million ($14.6 million) in Hong Kong. He defeated another seven bidders at Sotheby’s spring sale on April 7. He bought the vase in the name of the Shanghai Long Museum Nike Dame Air Huarache Run Ultra SE Sko Sort På nettet , which he co-founded with his wife Wang Wei.
The museum has two locations in Shanghai, and has displayed several of his collections which were auctioned off at record-breaking prices.
The Guan Octagonal Vase of Southern Song
The vase sets a rare example of the products from the Guan kiln (official ware) in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Guan is among the five prestigious kilns of the Song Dynasty whose porcelains have a reputation for excellence.
The bluish-green vase is distinguished with a web of veins of large-scale crackle. The great technical challenges meant that perfect pieces were rare, making the style one of the most widely admired and sought after Chinese porcelains.
Liu bought it for HK$113.9 million ($14.6 million) at Sotheby’s spring sale to add to the Long Museum’s collection.
The Meiyintang 'Chicken Cup'

This collection of Buddhist Sutras is believed to be an authentic work of Ming navigator Zheng He and the only one in existence. It was dated to the 12th year of the Yongle reign, or 1414. BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- Chinese officials who meddle in judicial cases could now find their names in a newly created blacklist by the central authorities.
China rolled out measures on Monday to record all officials who interfere in judicial cases and name violators publicly to hold them accountable in the latest effort to ensure judicial independence and transparency.
According to new rules issued by the General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the General Office of the State Council, judicial personnel should keep the whole process faithfully recorded no matter who is involved.
Violations identified include interceding for the litigants, asking personnel handling cases to meet with the litigants or their defenders privately Billige Nike Air Max 97 2017 Retro Herre Sko Hvid , or overstepping their authority to make tendentious suggestions or directions on handling of cases by means of hearing reports, holding coordination meetings or issuing circular.
Officials who retaliate against judicial personnel involved in the recording or whose interference creates further problems or influences a case shall be given disciplinary penalties and even criminal penalties if their behaviors constitute crimes, according to the rules.
Judicial personnel who fail to record the interference shall receive disciplinary punishment.
The rules are a part of a broader legal reform package adopted by a key session of the CPC Central Committee in October to advance the rule of law in an all-round way.
The rules are deemed pertinent to steering Party and government officials clear of judicial investigations and trials as officials around the country have been criticized for meddling in cases which greatly impair judicial credibility.
