he Atlanta Braves are a Major League Baseball team having their base in Atlanta Nationals Bryce Harper Jersey , Georgia, since 1966. The team competes in the Eastern Division of the National League. 1871-1913
The Cincinnati Base Ball Club was the sponsor of the first professional baseball team in 1869. After the 1870 season, It was dissolved through voting. Two years later, The Braves were successful in setting up one of the most memorable seasons in baseball history. The Braves were on pace for a last place finish after a dismal 4-18 start. They were 15 games behind the league-leading New York Giants. However, the Braves won 41 games and lost 12 games from July 4-September 7. 1915-1953
The Braves contended for most of 1915 and 1916. Only two non-losing records were posted by Braves from 1917 to 1932. Judge Emil Fuchs bought the team in 1923 to bring his longtime friend Nationals Adam Eaton Jersey , pitching great Christy Mathewson back into the game. However, Mathewson died in 1925, leaving Fuchs in control of the team.Fuchs was committed to building a winner but It took awhile to overcome the damage from the years prior to his arrival. Fuch was facing financial crisis at that time due to the Great Depression. Fuchs worked out a deal with the New York Yankees as he was looking for a way to get more fans and more money. 1990s: Successes and Stars
