Eros Flame opens up with a gob smack of candied citrus. It’s sweet, yet fresh and pleasant. The loudness of the mint from the original is missing, and it’s a welcomed relief. A healthy dosage of black peppercorns radiate their dry and spicy character upon a silky sweet backdrop of sweet syrup. It’s a bit strange when you think about it.
